Noise is all set to lead the Indian non-display smart band market in 2026
The brand has already done well in the TWS market and was one of the dominant players in India’s basic smartwatch segment. As per SAG’s Wearable 360 service, Noise was among the top three vendors in the wrist wearable category in Q1 2026 with the market share of 15%. However the vendor’s annual decline for the quarter is high double digit. After a couple of years of strong growth, the basic smartwatch market has started to decline and Noise was no exception. Seeing this shift, Noise made a smart move by entering the non-display smart band category.
Aggressive pricing is Noise’s biggest advantage
One of the biggest reasons why Noise will be leading the non display segment is its aggressive pricing strategy. The Noise Rep has been priced aggressively against competitors like WHOOP, Amazfit, and the upcoming Google Fitbit Air, Garmin Cirqa. If we compare the pricing, WHOOP costs around ₹25,000 and also requires a yearly subscription. On the other hand, the Noise Rep is priced at around ₹8,000 with no recurring subscription fee. That’s a significant difference, especially for the Indian market where affordability plays a major role in buying decisions. The only product close to Noise in terms of pricing is Amazfit Helio strap but that was launched last year and no refresh yet directly benifiting Noise Rep band.
SAG forecasts Noise will lead the market from Q3 2026
As per SAG, India’s Non-Display Band Market is forecasted to grow 792% YoY in Q3 2026. Noise will lead the non display band market in India in Q3 2026 itself and also for the full year 2026. It will hold a market share of 54% in the India non display band market in 2026 with quarterly market shares as 65% and 67% for Q3 2026 and Q4 2026 respectively.

Early feedback suggests a promising start
While we are yet to test the device myself, the initial feedback has been largely positive. Based on early user experiences, the performance appears to be significantly good, and many of the health parameters are said to be at par, or at least very close, to what WHOOP offers.
Why do we think Noise will lead the Indian non-display smart band market?
As of now, the category has only a handful of players. These include WHOOP, Amazfit, Google Fitbit Air (which is expected to enter the market), and now Noise Rep. Unlike the smartwatch segment, competition here is still limited.
The only product close to Noise in terms of pricing is Amazfit Helio strap but that was launched last year and no refresh yet directly benifiting Noise Rep band.
Distribution already cracked
Noise is among the top 3 wrist wearable in the country and it has already cracked the supply chain, channel distribution. It just has to replicate the same with this new product. Hence it will be easier for Noise.
With its aggressive pricing, premium-looking hardware, and the absence of a subscription model, robust distribution, Noise has the potential to gain traction much faster than its competitors. The design is also quite premium and feels very close to what WHOOP offers. Although WHOOP delivers slightly better battery life, the 7–8 days of battery backup on the Noise Rep is still impressive for most users.
Software remains the biggest area for improvement
That said, there is one area where Noise still needs to improve, its software experience.
We have used the Noise app with its TWS products, and the experience has not always been smooth. There have been bugs and inconsistencies, and similar issues are already being reported for the Noise Rep app as well. If Noise wants to establish itself as a serious player in the health and fitness ecosystem, improving the app experience should be a top priority.
Competition Ahead
With Noise launching the non display band, it would not be surprising to see Boat, and other Indian wearable vendors launching their non display bands. This will be a strong competition to Noise similar to how they competed in basic smartwatch category. However, fitness metric accuracy and early mover advantage works in Noise favour. In 2027, we believe Noise fitness band shipments will grow significantly compared to 2026 but market share might take a toss due to more competition.
Final thoughts
Overall, the Noise Rep looks like a solid product. The hardware is promising, the pricing is highly competitive, and early feedback on the readings has been encouraging. If the company can deliver a polished software experience and maintain the accuracy of its health metrics over time, we believe Noise will not just lead the market but can also sustain the top 3 position in the long term.
